I'm sorry to all of you who had to look at my Hawaii pictures over and over because I haven't posted anything in over a month. I thought I would post some pictures of what we've been up to. First I had to make some gifts for all the women for our relief society birthday dinner coming up in a couple of weeks. I wanted to make something that the women could display in their home and that went with the theme. So here are what 100 of those look like now that I'm done.
I think because of this, I decided I liked working with the wood and wanted to do more things. I found a blog called knockoffwood.blogspot.com and it really got me excited to make things. So my great husband went and bought me a chop saw so I could pursue my new hobby. I think it will be our new hobby since he has been having some fun working with me. For our first project we chose something pretty easy, a bench to go at the end of my bed. Here is a teaser of what it looks like now as a work in progress. Just need to paint it and it will be done and time to move onto something else. I'm thinking either a bed for Grant or an end table. I'll post a pretty picture of my bench when she is all painted.
Then what is a post without some pictures of my cute kids. We took them to the driving range a couple of weeks ago to get ready for spring. They had fun, but I think we need to teach Grant to use some real golf clubs :) Also, when I look at this picture I think my little girl is growing up!
