Jake's mission call

My brother Jake has been living with us for the past 6 months while going to school.  He just got his mission call yesterday.  None of our family was here to see him open it so I thought I would post a little video for them.  He is very excited!

Walking?

So, Ali tells me Grant is learning how to walk and I come in the room to find this.  Ali loves to tote Grant around and while she looks like she isn't being very careful, she really is.  And it looks like Grant doesn't seem to mind.

 

Mornings

OK, so I am probably posting too much stuff, but I want to show my kids off.  I think I take more pictures now so that I can put them on my blog, but that isn't a bad thing.  

Grant exploded this morning and it was too early to get the kids bathed, so I just changed him and put him in his bath robe.  As you can see, it doesn't really cover much, but he is cute in it.  And you will all be happy to know that both kids were bathed and cleaned up at a more reasonable hour, 7.   

Does anyone else think Grant is getting a little too big for Ali to tote around?  She doesn't think so!

  

Spring?

It has been so beautiful the past couple of days we decided to go for a little walk along the river.  I couldn't believe how nice it was.  With such gorgeous days I get spring fever and I just know tomorrow we will have cold, bad weather.  So we decided to enjoy it while we could.

            Grant and his friend Kelsi enjoyed the sun by sleeping, but I'm not complaining.

For my Valentine's Day I got to spend an hour in the doctor's office to find out that my little baby has a case of bronciolitis and an ear infection.  He has been a pretty sad little boy with a horrible sounding cough so I was glad to finally get some antibiotics to help.  After 3 nights of only a few hours of sleep the medicine must have helped because we didn't have to get up until 4:00 this morning.  When I say we I mean Grant and I, Daniel isn't ever really an active participant when it comes to nights.    Anyway, I thought I would share what I get to put up with for most of the past week, crying.  He is still pretty cute, we just miss those happy times! 

Trying out this blog thing

So, today after some persuasion of my friend Karina, I decided to try out this whole blogging thing.  Maybe it will be fun and maybe it will just be a pain, we will see.
