Getaway

My mom took the 2 kids home with her for 3 weeks of their summer.  They are having the time of their lives and Danny and I decided to make the most of having no kids.  Danny had a 3 day weekend so we decided to head up to Sandpoint.
Sandpoint's public beach on Lake Ponderay.

We decided to splurge and stay at the lodge on Schweitzer Mountain.  It was beautiful and right on the ski hill.
This is the lodge we stayed in.
A girls got to get some sun if it is her vacation!

One day we decided to take a little hike on the ski hill to see the beautiful scenery.

The next day we decided to take the easy way up the mountain.

Some toys

We got a couple new toys for the summer so the kids wouldn't be so bored.  One of the two may or may not have only lasted less than a month when it blew down the street into our neighbors house this weekend.  This is the only picture I got of the trampoline, it definitely wasn't worth the money for only a couple weeks.  I guess we learned our lesson.

Memorial Day Weekend

We wanted to go on a little getaway for Memorial Day.  So we decided to head up to Couer d'Alene to see our friends.  First Danny had to get a bike ride in and then he was kind enough to take me on a little ride.  It wasn't little for me, I am a little out of shape and nearly puked going up, but it was worth it to going down!

We had the next day Danny had off so we decided to take the kids up to Silverwood for the day.  It was a little cold, but the kids had a blast and didn't have to stand in any lines!

Easters

We had a great Easter this year!
Grant got a new pitching machine from the easter bunny.

Ali got a pogo stick.  She drove us crazy all day long trying to beat her record.  I think she got to something like 600.

There's my cute kids in their Easter duds.
Every year we have a big easter egg hunt.  All the eggs are filled with money or candy.

Ali's loot.

Grant seeing how much he ended up with.

skiing

Ali got to go skiing again this year.  She is doing really good and is starting to really like it!

Christmas 2011!!!

Christmas Morning!

All Grant wanted was a water gun for Christmas.

We had a wonderful Christmas and were so lucky to have family come and visit us.  We were very spoiled, as always, and very blessed!

Christmas Eve :)

For Christmas, My parents came up and joined us along with my little brother Jake and his wife Janelle.  We partied hard on Christmas Eve.  We went and visited the train park with all of the lights.

Then we had our own little ugly sweater, fondue party.

The elf dropped off some new pj's for the kids.

We decorated stockings.

Had a little dollar store exchange.

And read our Christmas story.
