Granty Poo

I just wanted to post a couple of pictures of my little boy.  He got some new summer duds and I snapped a few pictures of him.  I will post some of Ali after school since I never post pictures of her.  This first picture is how I find Grant a lot during the day.  He constantly wants to go bye bye and stands at the door begging and trying to open the door.

It's about time Trisha

I have been the worst blogger over the past month.  I am the new enrichment leader and we have the relief society birthday party coming up this week.  We are doing the production of the ten virgins.  I am in that, plus I am in charge of the food, so I have been a little stressed.  Talk to me next week and I will be good, hopefully.  Today Ali got a package in the mail from her grandma.  Grandma Kristi had made her a fun new dress and she was so excited.  She was very impressed with grandma's sewing skills and said "she should sell these in stores."  Here is a picture of her in her new dress.

And we always have to take a picture of Grant too to show how much he is growing.  He isn't really growing much because the stinker won't eat, but here's a picture anyway grandma.

I also took a little video of Grant cleaning and playing  He is my little helper and is very meticulous about everything!!

Videos

I just unloaded my camera and had a couple cute videos.  This first one I took one morning when the kids were dancing in their pj's.

I took this one on Saturday.  It was a beautiful day outside and the kids wanted their dad to take them outside to play.  Grant LOVED the trampoline and we had to drag them off once the sun went down.

This last one is just of Grant playing ball this morning.  He kept giving me these silly faces so I decided to take a video of it.

My Kids

I just wanted to put a picture or two of my kids.  I sure adore them, so why shouldn't everyone else get to.  Grant has just started to really enjoy books.  He will go get his books out of his closet and come bring them to you and then back up into your lap.  I took this picture the other day when I came around the corner and saw them both laying on the ground and Ali reading to Grant.  I thought they were precious.  The other one is of Grant getting to go bye-bye.  That is all he wants to do these days and he gets so excited to go out the door and get in the car.

random photos

I know I haven't posted since Christmas, but I have been busy.  So I decided I better throw some pictures on here for Grandma.  For some reason I didn't take many pictures while we were on vacation, but  here are a few that I did take.

Ali got to go skiing for the first time when we were in southeast Idaho.  She had a better attitude than I expected for the first time skiing.  There weren't any tears and she even asked to go again, but we couldn't go because we were so busy.

Grant got to go out and play in the snow.  He loved sledding and liked to see the snowflakes.

This is Danny enjoying his new bike helmet.  I guess it is too cold to ride so he has to wear it while he eats his dinner.

Merry Christmas!!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year and have plenty more still to come.   We are going to head down to southeast Idaho to spend a week with family.  But this was the first year we have spent Christmas at our own home.  It was really nice.  We went to a friends house and had a really nice Christmas eve dinner and then we came home to some pj's on our front porch.  That elf found us once again this year and the kids were excited to get to open a present before we headed to bed.

Then we were up bright and early Christmas morning (5am) to open presents.  Santa found us, and the kids and Daniel and I all got spoiled, as always!  We spent the day just lazily laying around and playing with all our new presents.  It was really nice not to have to pack up and go visit all of our family on Christmas day.  Then in the evening we went over to another friends house and got to join in their traditional Christmas crab feast.  It was really good and really fun and so nice to leave my MESSY house and enjoy their beautiful home.

So now today I have a huge mess to clean and lots of stuff to pack up, but it was all worth it and we had a wonderful Christmas!
