November snow!

We don't usually get much snow here in Clarkston, but when we do the kids love to play!

This is more snow than we've ever gotten here.

We had to go sledding with Dad after he got home from work and it was dark.  The kids loved sledding in the dark with their headlamps.

Grant is now fOuR!

Grant finally turned 4 the day after Halloween.  He was so happy to finally be old and growing up!  He woke up so happy to open all of his presents.

HalLoWeen

Happy Halloween!  Ali wanted to be the mother off of Tangled, Grant chose a skeleton, and Danny went back to his roots and just did what came natural to him.  The kids and I went downtown and did trick or treating to the downtown businesses and then we bundled up and went to the church for a little Halloween dance and some trunk or treating.  No one hardly recognized Danny, but his truck gave it away.  At least he has fun!

We carved pumpkins the day before with Grandma, Jake and Janelle.  If you look closely in the background you will see how much Daniel got into carving.  He's taking a little nap in the chair.

Soccer for 3 year olds?

Grant wanted so bad to be involved in some kind of sport, but he seems to be too young for everything.  I did find a soccer league that let 3 year olds play so I decided to sign him up.  Grant understood it and was a pretty good hustler.  The problem was almost all the other 3 year olds had NO attention span and didn't want to be there.  It was probably a waste of time, but Grant didn't think so.  He loved going to soccer and playing and being big.

Ali turned 9

Ali turned 9 on September 18th.  Daniel and I drove home from Whistler on her birthday so she had to wait for us to get home to celebrate.  But when we got home we opened presentes, ate dinner, ate birthday cake, and even had a friendly game of soccer.

Whistler Trip

In September, Daniel and I went on a little weekend getaway to Whistler, Canada.  We went with 6 other couples for a fun mountain bike trip.  This is when I decided I kinda liked mountain biking with my hubby.

This is the view from our condo we stayed in, overlooking the Olympic park.  It was beautiful.

We actually stayed in the Olympic village and walked these paths plenty each day.  There was a lot of shopping and eating to be done.

This is the ski hill.  In the summer it is the downhill bike hill.

One day Danny and the guys rented downhill bikes and got to go experience this sport.  They loved it and will definitely be doing it again someday.

Just having some fun taking pictures one night with the Olympic rings.

One day when the guys were out riding, us girls got to go play around on some of the easy trails.  I loved it!

Another day Danny took me out for a ride.  We had fun being playful and spending time together.

Grant's preschool days

Grant started school this year also.  I guess you can call it preschool.  He goes 1 day a week to a friends/neighbor's house and then his friend comes over to our house 1 day of the week.  We have some one on one instruction with the boys and they love it.  They get to play some too so it is a win/win situation.  As you can tell he was very excited to be grown up and go to school.
