30

A big happy birthday to my cute hubby.  He is out of his twenties and into the dreaded 30's.  I feel bad because we didn't do too awfully much to celebrate his birthday, but we are going to make a little birthday trip to Seattle this weekend.  So, hopefully he somewhat enjoyed his day!

Ali' got her dad a new Mariners hat, so now they are all ready to go to a game.

I decorated Daniel's door to embarrass him a little bit.

Giddy up

Ali got to go ride a horse for the first time this evening.  She was scared and crying even before she left the house, but once her dad got her on the horse she loved it.  By the end she was riding and steering like a pro.  It is fun to see her try new things.

It's about time

I know I haven't been very good about posting this past month.  I don't have any excuses, but hopefully I can make up for it with my 2 cute kids.  Yes, that is all I post about, but at least Grandma is grateful for that.

It is so nice to wake up to these two faces every morning.  Some mornings are earlier than others, but I forgive them.
I have been trying to work with Grant on sitting up, rolling over, and all of that jazz.  He is almost 6 months and is beginning to catch on.

Spring Break

It was Ali's Spring Break this past week and we didn't know what to do.  I didn't want her to be lazy and watch tv all week and drive me crazy so I got to thinking.  Ali and Grant got to go swimming on Monday so this is a pic of them in their new swimming clothes.  Then on Tuesday my Mom wanted me to drive to Pocatello, but I told her it was too long of a drive with 2 kids by myself.  So we compromised and I met her and my sister Tess in Boise and hung out with my brothers Jaron and Clint.  It was fun to just hang out and visit.  It is funny when we get together the noise level rises and rises and we just keep getting louder and louder.  Here are a few pics of all the cousins together.  All 8 of my mom's grandkids were there and all the siblings but Jake were together so it was fun.

Left to right: Jaron's kids Emmy (7), Ashton (3), Carter (5), my Ali (5), and Tess's kid Addi (18 mo.)
Clint's Corgin (3 mo.), Grant (5 mo.), and Jaron's Lilly (3 mo.)

Easter

Hope Everyone had a happy Easter.  Here's my kids in their new easter duds.  I thought they were pretty cute, but I am their mother.  We had a nice day at church and had a good dinner with friends.

Ali got spoiled by the easter bunny this year!  Hope she enjoyed it because she isn't an only child anymore.
I took this picture because this is how Ali babysits Grant.  They sit on the floor in my room and watch the tv that is up on the wall.  Even Grant has now found the tv and it gives me a minute or two to myself.
