We spent the memorial day weekend up in Coeur d'Alene  with some friends.  It was a lot of fun spending time outdoors on the lake and away from the city.  I thought I would put on a couple of pictures of the kids.

We went on a little hike with the kids.  Grant loved being big and walking on the trail all by himself.  As you can see Ali is sporting some nice hiking shoes.  I can not get that girl to wear tennis shoes!

I guess Grant wasn't as good as he thought.  He was running downhill and I asked Daniel if he had Grant.  Just as he said yes, Grant tripped and fell and this bump is what he had to show for his fall on a dirt trail.  Poor Boy, but I'm glad it happened on Daniel's watch or I would have been in TROUBLE.

Swimming

We got to go swimming yesterday during our beautiful weather.  I left my camera in the car, but my friend took a couple pictures of my kids.  Ali ALWAYS loves to go swimming and stays as long as she can.  Grant loved the water also, but was all about throwing stuff into the pool for the girls to dive and get it.  He also liked to count to 3 and jump in.  We are excited for many more beautiful swimming days.

This is where Grant spent most of the evening, on the SIDE of the pool.

update

I'm sorry I haven't posted anything in sooo long.  Even I was sick of seeing happy easter.  I don't have much to report and that is why I haven't posted.  Danny had his birthday this weekend and his mother came to visit.  We were coming and going so much that I didn't get any pictures taken.   We had a fun weekend celebrating birthdays and mothers day.
Grant went to his 18 month check-up today.  He finally hit 20 lbs and is in the 2nd percentile for weight.  I told the doctor I was a little concerned about his weight and he said that he is just like his momma.  We have alway joked that our boys would get my genes and our girls would be tall like their dad.  Lets hope for Grants sake he starts growing!!

Happy Easter

Here are a few pictures of the kids Easter morning finding their baskets and stuff.

These are their Easter duds.  Grant was not in the mood for picture taking, but I was able to snap a few.

This is the meltdown Grant has every time I make him come in from outside.

Tennising

Saturday night the clouds went away and it turned really warm so Danny told Ali to grab her tennis racket and we went to the tennis courts.  Ali is always asking to go tennising (that's what she calls it).  She remembered everything from before the winter break and did really well.  And Grant didn't complain because it had something to do with a ball.  That kid ALWAYS has a ball in his hand.

Easter Prep.

Danny finally got a day off today and it is raining ALL day.  He had plans to work hard out in the yard, but that will have to wait for another day.  Instead we went out and cleaned out the garage and defrosted our little freezer.  Well some of us worked, Ali decided it was her day off too and she didn't want to work.

Ali did however feel in the mood to color eggs.  This year Ali and I decided to try something different and try the Spin an Egg.  It cost more than your average egg coloring kit, but Ali decided it was worth it.  We had fun adding different colors to the egg to see what color it would turn into when we spun it around in the contraption.  So now the garage is clean, eggs are colored, Danny's hair is cut, and everyone got naps (except for mom) so I think we are ready to have a good easter tomorrow.  Hope everyone has a great day and I'm sure I will post more tomorrow of our fun and excitement.

Ali's dress

So Ali is off of school for the week and my mom is here and we were a little bored.  Ali has resorted to watching lots of movies because the weather hasn't been very nice.  Also, I couldn't find an easter dress for Ali at any of the stores so we decided to make one.  My mother had to help me since I don't know what I am doing.
